NOVA UYFA has partnered with Bishop O'Connell High School football program to ensure that all of our players are equipped with the right skills and techniques to be the best football player they can be for the 2013 football season. NOVA UYFA FUTURE - WE WILL RESUME IN 2013:
NOVA UYFA has been an in house league. Something we will no longer be. NOVA UYFA has now become a TRAVELING football club. Simply put, Our Clubs/Teams will travel to all games throughout the metropolitan region where the competition will be at a higher level. We are please to announce that we're joining a well respected league. While the competition will be stiffer, we are proud to announce we will be keeping our playing time minimum rule for those 14U and 12U.
VOLUNTEERS WANTED:
This is a non-profit organization (501c3). This does not mean that the program cannot have what some would call a war chest fund. However, this is not to be confuse with any being paid. All of us who are involve with the program are strictly volunteers from top to bottom without pay.
To make this a great experience for all. We will need the help of many more volunteers. We will be in need of at least one parent on each team to step up and be a "playing time spotter". This is where the parent will keep tab of the opponents players playing time at a game. Any team who qualify and wish to make the trip to the National, must have a team parent(s) step up and help raise/collect money for the teams trip etc... The Coaches will not lead the task. These are just a few positions at this time.
